Embed on frontpage

Hi

I was wondering, would it be possible to display the counter/s on the frontpage of my site,
and not only if I go to mysite.com/grape/

I don't want all the boxes, but the "Visits" box would be great.

I'm no php guru, so please be gentle

Hi,

This script stats page don't support turkish characters,

I tried this for themes: "content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-9" />" but dont worked.

what can i do for this?

new and old pages in "manage pages" doesn't shows up

hopefully this is the right place...

hello ive been using the Blend vlc skin for a while and its a Favorite one so far
but i found of some bug's in it.
i was going to edit it my self but immediately hit some issues.(couldn't unpack it because of some missing images and a java error. )
i found your This website in the info, so i came here =D , is there anyway you can update it?

bugs?
1)toggle small mode button doesn't work (p.s can you make video mode not in a separate window?)
2)the background in the "playlist" window doesn't resize when resizing.

cant upload .vlt's here but i suppose you already have it already anyways.

Today I encountered the following error:

A few hours ago everything was just fine. The only thing I did it was to export the Grape database using phpmyadmin from my hosting account.

Hi guys,

Great software, have found it to be a real boon to use when constructing sites quickly. The question I have is with the content editor. Currently you can set it to TinyMCE, HTML or Pure Text. I have found the need to put PHP code in this area, however once published it does not recognize the code.

For example on this page: http://www.ultrafightgym.com/?contact you can see from the URL that the content is coming from the CMS system.

This content is all javascript and HTML plugging in a google API for map functionality. The CMS has no issue displaying it properly on the front end. The issue lies in the fact that I want to make sure that the owner or whomever he gives access to for editing of other pages does not accidentally modify this code and the perfect solution would be to have this page run via include:

PHP Code:

include 'contact.php' ?>

Now in theory this should work, since the site is PHP based, the front end page that it is part of is PHP based and above all... the above code is formatted to clearly tell the server to display the information in contact.php in this location. Theory and reality are not lining up in this instance Any and all PHP code put into the CMS editor simply refuses to display on the front end.

This goes much farther than just wanting to include a page, there are several functions that the site owner would like and they involve PHP/MySQL features. Of course I can just make individual pages separately but for the sake of consistency it would be perfect for them to function through the CMS.

At first I assumed that this has to do with how the CMS is storing information in the database, but if it were stripping out any of the php code then the CMS editor would reflect that when I went back to edit the page. It is not the case, the PHP code is all still there and intact upon clicking the page to edit.

Any direction anyone could point me in to either mod the system myself or a quick fix would be perfect!

Quate CMS - preview feature?

Hi, I'm set up quate cms for use on a website of which I am not the primary editor. The primary editor isn't very good at html (yet) and is likely to make mistakes when editing pages. This is why i'm wondering if there isn't a way to get a preview of your page edits before making them final (like on wikipedia). Another question I have is whether it would be possible to get syntax highlighting on the page code. I'm currently wedded to Notepad++ which has amazing tag matching and highlighting abilities, to be able to do something similar (not necessarily as sophisticated) in quate cms would be quite useful. Are there ways in which I can do either of those things?

I downloaded devTrace a couple days ago.
I can't seem to upload zip files. I'm able to choose the file and when I click to upload it, i get a blank screen. was the zip issue fixed as of 28/1/09? If not what formats can be uploaded?

Hi,
I'm just trying to install Grape Beta 1 and it seems to not detect that MySQL is installed. I checked my gui, and it reads that MySQL is running, as I can also connect to it through other web pages. Everything else is detected.

I've reviewed /docs/ directory. It read that I need to edit values in /includes/connect.php file. I don't have that file, it didn't come in the download. Could that be the issue with the MySQL connectivity?

I have another issue, but I'm hoping that the above issue will solve the next problem.

I hope someone can give me some insight into this.

Grape install - time zone issue

During install I receive this notice:

After installation, viewing statistics, I get:

In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Los_Angeles' for '-8.0/no DST' instead

Apache configure Grape with Reverse Proxy

Hi -

The only way I have been able to get correct results with Grape is by making the url available to the outside world. I only want people on the inside network to have access to this url. Is there a way to configure Grape to record hits without making it available to the outside world?

My current set up is a reverse proxy which is running Grape. It records all of my outside hits. However, if I remove the outside url for Grape, my hit count stops.

I have played with directory access within Apache but nothing seems to work.

What is the correct configuration for Grape to record hits but not make it Stats page available to the outside world?

Installation Error - Web Stats

I cannot get past this point.
